WILD

To achieve this, I worked on large canvases in and with Nature. It was about revealing its beauty, its strength, its powers, both creative and destructive. So I decided to enter into conversation and literally work with it.

I wrote, painted, and left the canvases outside for several days in wild places, exposed to the elements. Nature responded: it destroyed, it left traces, sometimes rewrote, I responded too, or not... Little by little, despite all our interventions, the sensitive appeared. The result was revealed in an exhibition on large coated canvases, free, raw, or even on stretchers. Sometimes even in an American box to accentuate the precious side of the exchange.
