Designed at the request of the City of Annecy, PÉCHÉS CONTEMPORAINS is a participatory installation designed to occupy public space and engage in dialogue with the residents of a western district of the city.
The objective is to "bring art into the neighborhood" while questioning the population on major societal issues: overconsumption, pollution, the food industry, the use of social networks and, more broadly, our relationship with responsibility.

The work takes the form of a journey through the "Friche des Rails." It revisits, in words and paintings, the idea of "sins" transposed into our contemporary era: no longer faults condemned by religions, but behaviors that, according to political and economic authorities, fuel the disorders of our society.

The installation directly invites residents to intervene: write, draw, and place their own words and images on the supports integrated into the work. This participatory system made it possible to transform the space into a place of shared expression, where everyone could compare their experience and perspective. Through this work, I wanted to both highlight our collective failings and question the accusatory stance of those who point the finger at those responsible in order to better divert attention from their place. The installation then proposes a reversal: what if we were all, in reality, co-responsible for these "contemporary sins"?
