NO LIMITS
LIMITS

In this in situ installation, I offered the visitor an experience of a quest for freedom in a context that would be considered limited.
- Geographical limit,
- Time limit,
- Moral limit,
- Physical limit,
- Material limit,
- Social limit,
- Religious limit,
- Psychological limit,
- Legal limit,
- Natural limit,
- Limit...
Omnipresent, visible or invisible...
Restrictive, necessary or beneficial...
Whatever we want, limits "are." Yet sometimes we manage to blur them or even forget them and feel completely free...
Do they condition our perception of freedom?
Is deciding to free oneself from it an illusion?
Are we doomed to bump into the contours of our reality?
Is an accepted or chosen limit still a limit?
How can we open a path to reconciliation with this notion without depriving ourselves of the driving force that drives us to move beyond them? This work, which began in the fall of 2019, continued until June 2022.
It therefore took shape before, during, and after the lockdown. The scenography, designed in situ for this Bonlieu location, invited visitors to navigate both within this space and time and around the theme of "no limits LIMITS."
