VERTICAL GARDEN
Menthon Saint-Bernard Contemporary Art Biennale 2025
JARDIN VERTICAL
This second installation, still part of the Menthon Saint-Bernard Contemporary Art Biennale, focuses on the gardener's daily activities.
Used tea towels, salvaged and sewn together, become the medium for this exploration. I reproduce the gardener's gestures using some of his tools, paint, and inks. Suspended 3.50 m between posts planted in a field at 10 m intervals, these works create the illusion of gardens, thus merging the installation with the surrounding landscape.
The work becomes a direct extension of nature, reaffirming the unity between art and the environment.
